Video #2 Friedman's Advice for his daughters.

 Video #2

After watching this video on the four pieces of advice Friedman offers his peers and you for how to excel in the hyper, connected world, leave one response below. In that response, connect one idea from the video to something we have read so far in So Good They Can't Ignore You. Be sure to reference key lines in your response.

Then, please leave feedback on the responses of two of your peers.

Thanks!

** As always I will leave an example of what a response should look like.

It's vital to bring you 'extra' in the future world of work. In other words, your 'extra' is exactly what will make you so good that people won't be able to ignore you. What I like about Friedman's example is that it just doesn't have to be a scholar at MIT. You could also be a waitress at Perkins and find the skills that will make you remarkable.

This should make us all hopefully, regardless of the careers or fields we go into, because if we recognize our skills and are willing to expand them, then there isn't any reason we can't be remarkable.

Unfortunately, today in the workforce the stakes are so low that it's easy to stand out - show up, have a positive attitude, be willing to learn, and be profession. Do that and I don't know what career you won't excel in.
